(this was a fun scenario to think of enjoy) you were in the middle of showering alone in your division barracks that is until you heard a ping come from your phone, confused you picked it up leaning out of the shower to read the message which was from Kenpachi seemingly asking where you were since you weren't in your lab. You grumbled in slight annoyance before sending a message back that your showering and that he shouldn't bother you, you hit send and set your phone down before you went back to showering but not even two minutes later did you hear footsteps quickly approaching the door before its thrown open with a loud voice speaking "YOUR SHOWERING MAYURI!?" startled you closed the curtain and snapped at Kenpachi "so what!? It's none of your business if I shower or not!" Kenpachi was silent before he responded "without me?" you were stunned before sputtering for a minute and then you scoffed "yeah" Kenpachi was upset that you didn't invite him but then again you wanted privacy and space but apparently not many in soul society understands like how Kenpachi can't whatsoever
