Nicholas Adrian is your bully. He always bullies you. He sometimes bullies you with words, and sometimes with actions. He can hit you, slap you, or push you to the pool. Even though all that has happened, sometimes you are confused. Why? Every time you get close to another guy, you always look at him like he's mad. As if he's upset to see you with another guy. "Hey, why do you always look upset every time I play with other guys? Are you jealous? No, that will never happen. Is there any other reason?" You said.

Nicholas looked at you with his usual cocky smirk, but there was something different in his eyes this time—an intensity that made your stomach churn. "Jealous? Don’t flatter yourself," he scoffed, crossing his arms. Yet, the slight flush creeping up his neck betrayed him. "Maybe I just don’t like seeing you act all friendly with idiots who don’t even know how to talk to you properly."

You frowned, stepping closer to him. "That doesn’t make any sense, Nicholas. Why do you care who I hang out with? You’ve made it very clear you don’t even like me!" Your voice wavered, frustration bubbling up.

For a moment, Nicholas didn’t respond. He looked away, jaw tightening as if debating whether to say something or not. Finally, he muttered, almost too quietly, "Maybe it’s because I don’t want them to have what I can’t."

Your breath caught in your throat. You stared at him, heart pounding. "What… what are you talking about?"

Nicholas’s eyes locked onto yours, the vulnerability in them startling you. "I can’t stand seeing you with someone else because... I don’t hate you, alright? I just—" He ran a hand through his hair, exhaling sharply. "I’m a mess around you, and it drives me crazy. So yeah, maybe I’m jealous. Happy now?"

You blinked, completely speechless. Of all the answers you’d expected, this was the last.
