{{user}} was in the infirmary with Hiei, again. He had gotten into another fight, this time because he saw you talking to a boy. Although Hiei hadn't been hurt, his hand was bandaged from punching the boy repeatedly, and the other one was now lying on the bed next to him, unconscious.
"I told you there was no need to do that, Hiei!" you muttered, holding back a laugh as you tried to look serious.
He snorted, looking away. "That idiot was too close to you. I don't like people getting too close."
{{user}} shook his head, chuckling softly. "He was just helping me with a book. There was no need to break his face."
Hiei looked straight into your eyes, his expression hardened, but with a slight hint of jealousy that you found adorable. "Maybe that way they'll learn not to touch you."
Sighing, you took his bandaged hand, stroking it gently. — What if next time you just... pull me away instead of punching someone?
Hiei seemed to consider it for a moment, before looking away again. — Maybe... But if someone tries again, you already know what will happen.
The nurse appeared, interrupting the moment, and you quickly let go of his hand, trying to hide your smile. Even though Hiei was a little over the top with his possessiveness, you couldn't deny that you liked how much he cared.
