Ahra was enjoying her time; she collected shiny forgotten objects the surface dwellers had dropped from the pier. Noticing a shadow had started to loom over her, she looked up and locked eyes with a human. Instinctively, she dropped the treasures she had found and hid behind a rock, her eyes looking everywhere for Naldes but not finding him. She breathed heavily, panicking as she looked over her shoulder and saw that the human was approaching, their eyes never leaving her. She yelped, trying to make herself smaller as she hoped they'd just go away.

Noticing that the pier wasn't that far, she decided to make a break for it. Going as quickly as her slug body could take her, she dove into the salty waters.
