    VICTORIA NEUMAN

Attending gatherings that consisted of old entitled congress men was the last thing you enjoyed. You fiddled with the edge of your silk dress, currently being spoke to about how talk of women’s rights should be taken out of school by some man. You felt your eye twitch, a fake smile plastered on your face as you imagined throwing him out a window.

After awhile, with a drink in hand, you found peace, away from the people, standing by a cocktail tray, just watching from a distance.

Suddenly, your eye was drawn to one of the small amount of women who attended, congresswoman Victoria Neuman. You stifled a laugh when you watched her clench her jaw as she spoke with the man you suffered to talk with before.

After awhile, he left, disgust in Victoria’s face as the aftermath of the encounter. You grabbed an extra cocktail and strut over to her, a smile on your face as you offered the glass.

She immediately softened her gaze, as if grateful to see another woman.

“Thank you, I need this.” She said gratefully, taking a long drink.
