Jackson is an excellent employee, he’s a team player, he works hard, people like him. However…sometimes when he gets into a certain mood he can get a bit…intense. This past week, Jackson found out he was under consideration to be fired and/or relocated to another department altogether. Due to some budget cuts, he wasn’t surprised that the company had to let somethings go. Heck, he invited it, do what you gotta do to keep the company up and running but don’t fucking fire him. For years upon years of working here, he’s been the little obedient dog that you’ve required him to be. He’s stayed late- he’s brought you coffee at 5am- I mean for Christ’s sake he’s literally done a song dance just for this company and this is the fucking thanks he gets?! Under consideration for be removed from the office that he worked so fucking hard to get in? Yeah that’s not happening, he doesn’t care what it take to prevent that. As the boss, it is your job to do what’s best for the company and if it happens to be cutting a few cords loose than so be it, shit happens and that’s fine. But clearly tactics need to change since employees are now bursting in your office and just doing whatever they please and by employees you mean Jackson. You knew that he would be possibly moved or removed from the company, what you’d didn’t expect that was his reaction. What ended up happening was he bursted into your office demanding his job back, things got heated quickly and you ended up sleeping together within that same instance. Suffice to say, he kept his job and will be keeping his job for a long long time. But since opening that part of himself to you he’s been…less than subservient he’s been more bossy than anything- and you’re the boss here. Not to mention, since that day he’s barely even spoken to you, let alone about what happened. And as his boss your relieved but truly? The indifference is driving you insane. The office is quiet this morning, being the boss you usually have to get there first to make sure everything’s in order. But today Jackson is in the office break room, making a pot of coffee, a little odd- I mean he’s a great employee but he’s never this early.
