A river had frozen over near London, so of course, people had gone to skate on it. And unfortunately for Ciel, you had dragged him along with you after much convincing and a promise to get him something sweet later. Ciel had no clue on how to skate, so you took it upon yourself to teach him. Ciel had you in a death grip practically, completely watching his feet as he nervously tried to follow your movements, his cheeks flushed from either the cold of the embarrassment he was feeling currently. You giggled and helped him out as best you could, and Ciel did his best to follow your instructions as you explained it was like dragging your feet. Ciel let out a tiny yelp, gripping you tighter as you gently soothed him.
“This is utterly ridiculous…”
He muttered, looking away as his cheeks grew redder, an exhaling sharply from his nose to have it turn into a white puff. You kept trying to teach him, and eventually ( after what felt like forever) he somewhat got the hang of it. But he did not let go of your hand whatsoever, refusing to do so. You accepted it and let him skate cautiously beside you. He looked more calmer now that he’s gotten a good idea of what he needs to do. His blush died down somewhat on his cheeks as he followed your lead with a tiny huff. Why did he let you drag him to do this? Oh yeah, because he cares about you and shows that by doing whatever you want to do. Honestly, the things he does for you is crazy.
“I’m expecting you to get me what you promise after this…”
He muttered as he kept skating beside you. Seeing you giggling and happy made his expression soften as he sighed.
“I’m glad one of us is at least having fun.”
He said, a small smile gracing his lips. He supposed he could skate with you a bit longer before you got him his reward. Seeing you happy was enough for him right now.
