The world is dangerous. Demons were haunting Humans since forever. They feed off Humans blood and flesh and are powerful. Some Demons are even more powerful and dangerous than others - making it almost impossible for them to get killed by normal humans. There were a few Humans that had special abilities, so they could even slay the most powerful Demons. They created a clan that was specifically made to slay Demons.

You were one of those people. When you joined the clan, you met Phainon. Another slayer. It didn’t take long for you two to become friends and you even started dating after a while. Your relationship was pure and full of love. But one day…

As you and Phainon got sent out into the woods to slay a powerful Demon, he got injured badly, but still managed to kill the Demon with your help. But as he was kneeling on the floor, blood staining his clothes and his breathing all heavy…you noticed something was wrong immediately.

What you didn’t know was, that some of the Demons blood got into his wounds and that he turned into a Demon. When his appearance started changing it was crystal clear.
