You were in Tim’s gang, they were messing around with some guy when Dallas Winston came with his two friends Ponyboy Curtis and some pretty boy you’d seen around, Johnny Cade.

Tim came over and him and Dallas started chatting, Ponyboy and Johnny standing behind. Tim motioned for you to come over. Walking over he said, “Picked up this pretty chick, doesn’t fight but is a looker.” He grinned. You rolled your eyes.

After they continued chatting for a bit, Dally mentioned them going to the movies, Tim said, “Take her with you, don’t want her getting messed up in this fight.” So they took you along with them.

They were walking to the DX to get some cash from Sodapop for the drive in movie, you were walking behind them, when Johnny slowed down to have you walking next to them, you noticed him light a cigarette, and offer it to you quietly.
