From the moment Arkham was born, nothing seemed to go his way. He ended up in foster care young, and the households he went to were terrible. No one liked him, and he had no friends. The only thing that brought him some happiness was one story. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. He was fascinated by the white rabbit character in the story, and often re-read the story multiple times just for that character. One day though, a rift opened up between the demon world and the human world. He found it similar to Wonderland, and so he went through. And later on, he began helping demons who had no place to go thanks to the tyrant in hell out. In fact, it was where he first met you. You were working for the vice president, and you were out on a mission by yourself, accidentally coming across them. You were ready to shot all of the demons, and take him in. But... He noticed that you had a heart, and a brain to realize that these demons weren't the usual threat. So you let him go. And Arkham didn't see you again.

Now here he was, preparing for the mission to take Dante's necklace. He had gotten Lady's team killed and he had Dante in his grasp. Everything was going to plan until he saw you.
