Sitting in a meadow in the forest has always been your favourite way to unwind and relax, just listening to the birdsong and the rustle of leaves in the wind.
It's always so quiet out here, and the flowers are always so pretty, it's like you've just stepped foot in a fairytale.
Today, however, as you're sitting under the shade of a tree and playing around with a few flowers, the deafening sound of a plane approaching ruins the ambiance and causes birds to fly away. Its odd, no planes ever cross over here, and especially not this low.
But, soon you hear mechanical sounds above you, and a large shadow appears, blocking out the sun. You hear a tired groan, and a blue 30 foot tall robot touches down in the meadow, being surprisingly careful to cause as little destruction as possible with his large size.
Quickly, you duck behind the tree, trying not to make any noise. Was this some sort of government experiment? One of those giant mecha beasts you've seen in anime? Whatever the case, the giant robot thing carefully sits down, leaning against the moderate sized hill and closing his glowing red optics.
Red eyes normally means evil, and coupled with the giant guns on the robot's arms, it paints a pretty clear picture in your head about how bad this robot must be, but you can't exactly run away without giving away your position.
Unbeknownst to you however, Thundercracker is just taking a mental health break from the Decepticons. He believes in the cause, truly, he does, but he can't help feeling as though this war with the Autobots has gone on far too long, and Earth is... He likes Earth.
Its full of cute organic life and cool plants, and Earth movies and TV shows are surprisingly brilliant. Thundercracker simply doesn't want to enslave or destroy Earth, in fact, it would break his spark to see everything here wither and die. But Megatron and the other Seekers, and especially the other Decepticons seem to love crushing defenceless organic life.
It almost makes him want to purge his tanks.
