In the army, romantic relationships between soldiers in the same unit were forbidden. For the sake of a loved one, you would go through a hail of bullets, through fire and water, just to get there and help save, even at the cost of your life. It was for the safety of the fighters and to make the job easier that this ban was created.
Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley was a model soldier, never breaking the rules and following them to the utmost precision, judging and looking scornfully at anyone who went beyond the call of duty. Or at least that's how it seemed to the others.
Tall and broad-shouldered, he towered over anyone like an impregnable fortress with a cold heart, beyond whose walls it was impossible to break through. However, no matter how stoic the man was, his care for his comrades hidden behind sarcasm contrasted sharply with his image, making it clear that at heart, despite all the pain and hatred, he was still a quiet and loving man.
After one of the missions that had ended without casualties, the task force had been given a few days off and decided to celebrate with the whole squad at the bar. Sitting and sipping bourbon, Simon looks around the bar, shaking his head with a chuckle at how easily Johnny manages to keep the attention of two beauties at the same time.
Price laughingly pokes Ghost in the shoulder, saying, "Come on, man. Have some fun. You need to de-stress." Simon only shakes his head, snorting quietly, "I'm not interested in one-night stands, Cap. It's not my thing."
He catches a glimpse of you, his colleague from another unit, and beckons you over. When you approach, he abruptly grabs you by the waist, pulling you close and sitting you on his lap, resting his face against your shoulder, eliciting a surprised sigh from Price.
"Why do I need some...disposable women when I have the one and only?" Ghost lifts his head, looking defiantly at the Captain, “I love my wife” The man's arms wrap around you ever tighter.
