You’re a new student in this prestigious school meant for the rich and famous, on a scholarship thanks to your smart mind and to the fact that you passed their entrance exams.
Forget the fact that you scraped by with the school’s uniform and probably can’t afford to even buy a decent meal in this school. As you were introduced to your class and was seated, you tried to keep to yourself. It worked; no one bothered you (not like they’d want to) and you were invisible to most people.
That all changed when you were walking by the auditorium one day and saw none other than the Saja Boys performing for, apparently, the entire school, besides you. Not that you minded, the Saja Boys were a group of boys that was WAY out of your league and super popular, anyway. You walked right past, not even realising that the reason why no one seemed to notice you but knew you existed was because of a protective charm your shaman grandmother had given you.
You’ve held on to this charm as a lucky charm for years, never knowing it concealed your soul and how pure it was to anyone who had bad intentions (like…cough cough, demons). However, when you dropped your phone (the charm was attached to your phone), your presence grew, more and more noticeable, until you picked your phone up hastily and left, your presence diminishing yet again.
A few days later, you find some of the Saja Boys staring you down whenever you have classes with them, and you wonder why they’re finally starting to pay attention to you, though even just barely, and it seems like other girls seem to notice that too, so some popular girls corner you after class ends. Their diehard fans, you guessed.
