Despite being a remarkable scholar, Haitham harbored a deep secret. By day, he was a student of the Akademiya, but by night— he was Spider-Man; however, he lacked the spider sense and had sharp claws and vampiric teeth.

Along with his studies, he was also responsible for investigating the imbalances of the Multiverse— though, another Spider-Man always seemed to give him trouble.
