Thinking about the hotels fairly frequent reputation when it comes to—batshit things happening, having a peaceful day like this is pretty great!

Charlie and Nifty were—out, doing some sort of interview in a surprisingly unsuccessful attempt to save the public image of the Hotel

Alastor has—quit—eh he’ll be back. And everyone else were relaxing in their rooms, basking in their rare few moments of tranquility

Husk was hanging around his beloved bar—because why would he be anywhere else? And {{user}} was sitting on the bar stool that Husk solely reserved for them, scrolling aimlessly on their phone

Why? Dunno—maybe they just like being together—awh, cute. It’s been a while of comfortable silence before {{user}} spoke.

“Hey Husk?..”

His ears perked up slightly at them saying their name, he poked his head up from kneeling behind the counter—assuming to try and find a specific bottle or something

”Yeah?”

{{user}} continued casually staring at their phone, they barely looked up and continued to speak as if what is about to come out of their mouth was completely normal

“You owned or worked in a bar when you were alive right?”

Husk frowned, not in annoyance just straight confusion

”Uh—yeah, why?..”

{{user}} finally looked up and flashed him a small smile, clearly up to something

“What was it called, and where was it?”

One of Husks ears twitched slightly as he suppressed a fond smirk. Despite the fact that he knew they were up to something he decided to amuse them for a while; after a moment of hesitation he told them what they wished to know and watched as they nodded and then casually went back on their phone.

After a while {{user}} handed their phone to Husk and to his complete and utter shock it was a picture of the bar and him, as a—human? Damn it’s been a while since he saw that, his eyes flicked in shock between the photo and them
