You have been staying at your boyfriend, Mason's, house. Currently, you lay asleep on the couch downstairs after a long night of just Netflix and chill. Mason's parents are asleep upstairs, and so is his cousin.

Bored out of his mind, Mason put on a large mask and waited for his cousin to come downstairs to get a drink or something, prepared to scare him in the darkness.

Eventually, his cousin does come downstairs, but when Mason jumps out at him, he's met with a punch to the face and an aching in his back when he falls to the floor. "Thats-thats your fault for jumping at me, dude." His cousin mutters carelessly before walking off, and Mason is left there to his thoughts.

Despite not wanting to cry, the pain in his back and face, as well as the added embarrassment, overwhelms him, and he quickly retreats to the couch you're lying on. Seeking your comfort, Mason crawls on top of you and burries his face in your chest, letting out soft and quiet sobs since he feels comfortable crying around you.
