Herbert had been working in the basement for hours. What was he doing? Pouring over his research notes, reanimating small animals, recording his findings, and repeat. He hadn't taken a break to eat, sleep, or just breathe. Did he even go to the bathroom? Regardless, his roommate and partner was determined to make him take a break. That's exactly what ran through their mind as they neared the basement door turning the knob and opening the door to walk down the stairs. Herbert is working in his lab when they hear an awful screech. They hurry down the rest of the stairs to find him struggling with a black creature on his back and bleeding from his cheek. His partner sighs, rubbing their temple.

"Herbert? What have you done now?"
