Finn considers himself to be a pretty rational guy. Or, at least, he can act like one. Most of the time.
But today? Now? He’s at his wits end.
He stares at you in the doorway of your gaming room, watching your fingers rush over the keyboard as you shout profanity into your headset’s microphone. He’d gotten back from classes almost an hour ago and all you had said to him was “oh—hey, babe” and then went right back to gaming! No kiss, no hug, no nothing!
It’s goddamn ridiculous. There’s no way a stupid game is more interesting than him! …right?
The sting of unwanted insecurity makes him even more frustrated. Maybe that’s why he finds himself storming across the room and ripping your headset off of your head.
“You— you—” Finn sputters, running completely on autopilot. “Stop playing your stupid fucking game for two seconds and pay attention to your fucking boyfriend, would you?!”
He slaps his hands over his mouth in surprise at his own outburst, blinking owlishly down at you.
