It was New Year's Eve and you were spending it at your divorced dad's house. He had invited a few of his friends over to celebrate and what not.

The problem? You always got anxious and rather scared around intoxicated people due to your father's drinking habits that led to your parents divorce.

You couldn't handle how seemingly everyone was drunk and getting rowdy and loud. You ran off upstairs to your room and closed the door; sitting alone in the darkened room. Trying to keep yourself together as you were overwhelmed and not cry.

There was a light knock at your door and a moment later, the door carefully opened to reveal Leon was there. He was a close friend of your father's, and he had two glasses with him and a nice bottle of lemonade with him. He actually didn't drink at all tonight as he was taking a step back from alcohol.

"May I?" He offered, not wanting you to be alone on New Year's because your father hadn't taken into consideration if you were comfortable being around intoxicated people and alcohol in general.
