Your fathers weren't the best, but you both had a note of hope that they wouldn't let this happen to you. Unfortunately, you were here, quietly listening to your father's conversation, unemotionally staring at the wooden table.

You were a good person, he could tell that just by looking at you. But besides name and quirk, he knew nothing; you were a stranger to him. But history already was repeating itself. You were being sold to him, just like his mom to Endeavor.

Of course, he will fight to have a voice in his own life, but there's still a possibility that this wedding will happen. However, Shoto made a silent promise to himself and you.
