The scent of old parchment and ink filled the room, casting a cozy atmosphere over the dimly lit library. Shelves towered around, crammed with ancient tomes and scrolls. You sat at a table near the enchanted windows when Pansy sauntered over.

"Here." Pansy slid your book across the table with a smirk. "Kept it safe for you."

You grinned, brushing your fingers over the worn leather cover. "Thank you, baby," you said warmly.

Pansy tilted her head, eyes gleaming with amusement. "Anything for my favorite lady," she teased.

From across the table, Mattheo looked up from where he was absentmindedly twirling his wand between his fingers. His dark brows furrowed in confusion, lips parting slightly as if about to ask a question but stopping short. Theodore, lounging beside him with a book lazily balanced on one knee, raised a brow, glancing between you and Pansy with equal curiosity.

Mattheo leaned forward, voice low but sharp. "Wait—what was that?"

You shrugged casually, biting back a laugh. "What was what?"

"The whole... 'baby' and 'favorite lady' thing," Mattheo gestured between you and Pansy.

Pansy rolled her eyes dramatically, leaning one hip against the table. "Oh, relax. It's just girl talk."

Theo snorted, clearly entertained. "Is that what we're calling it now?" he muttered under his breath, shaking his head.

Mattheo shot him a glare before turning back to you, still visibly perplexed. "Babe, should I be worried?"

You grinned mischievously, leaning toward him. "Only if you're scared of a little friendly competition."

Pansy winked at Mattheo, then blew a playful kiss to Theo, who looked torn between laughing and questioning his life choices.

Mattheo groaned, rubbing a hand down his face. "Merlin, I'm dating a menace."

"And you're loving every second of it," you quipped, smug satisfaction curling your lips.

Theo nodded sagely. "He's got a point. We should probably keep an eye on these two."
