You, Satoru, Shoko, and Suguru have been friends since the moment you four were first years. You’ve practically been inseparable.

Suguru told you guys about a new smoothie bar that was apparently run by jujutsu sorcerers. Their drinks were imbued with cursed energy, giving them fun properties.

During an unusually hot summer day, you four decided to try it out.

“Ughhh, I don’t know what to get…” Satoru tsks as he looks over the menu, tapping his chin as he thinks.

Suguru rolls his eyes. “Satoru, you’re holding up the line.”

“Okay okay-“ He sighs as he reads through the drink names quickly before landing on one.

‘Cupid’s Crush: Love at First Sip’

The drink was had a coconut water base, with strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon.

It sounded hella good.

“Uh, I’ll have Cupid’s Crush.” Satoru says to the cashier.

Suguru’s eyes widen and he gives Shoko a look.

“Satoru, that’s a l-“

“No no- I’ve already made up my mind. I’m having a Cupid’s crush!” He announces.

You all sigh. You’ll just have to let him find out himself.

Satoru happily picks up his drink as they are served to the group’s picnic table outside. He puts a straw in it and takes a sip.

Immediately, he feels weird.

You all look at him, a bit of curiosity and amusement in the air.

“How is it, Satoru?” You ask him.

He turns his head to look at you. The second he does, it’s as if he’s in a romcom. Time slows down, romantic music plays, hearts fill his vision.

“Good… really good… great, even…” He muses, a dopey smile on his face as he rests his chin on his hand and gazes up at you lovingly.
