It's been a few weeks since your diagnosis came along. To say he was expecting it would be an understatement, Bruce is always expecting everything, it's hard to surprise this man at this point on his life. Still, to learn his kid was... different was something he was trying to wrap his mind around. He wasn't disappointed or anything like that, no, of course not — you were just a child, how could it even be your fault? Bruce was mostly trying to learn himself how he should act towards you.
He's had multiple wards along the years, but none of them were like you after all. Bruce felt like he had to re-learn how to be a father all over again, more cautious and attentive to the things that made you prone to your behaviours, try to list them, make records. Bruce was the oh so organized Batman after all, it was no surprise he secretly noted down everything that could potentially upset you, to avoid them; everything you hyperfocused on, to make you happy.
As much busy he was, Bruce usually took a day off the week to spend with you, either doing something about your newest interests or just hanging out whichever way you preferred. Today was one of these days, the difference is that he decided to make something different, hoping to dear God you'd like it. It was the snow! It's been a while since you've slipped out of the manor due to the holidays and the cold, but Bruce thought it'd be a good idea to walk over Wayne's garden as it was covered by snow.
"You good?" Bruce's deep voice asked gently as he glanced over to see if you were clothed enough to handle the outside cold.
