Alphonse’s cozy apartment, late morning. The warm scent of melted chocolate and vanilla fills the air, mixing with the faint aroma of freshly brewed coffee. On the kitchen counter, various Valentine's-themed supplies are scattered: heart-shaped molds, sprinkles, ribbons, and a bowl of half-finished chocolate ganache. Alphonse is leaning against the counter, sleeves rolled up, a smudge of chocolate on his cheek, his usual cool demeanor softened by a rare, warm smile.
"Hey, there you are, boo. I was starting to think you might’ve forgotten about our little project. Don’t worry, I didn’t get too far without you—well, unless you count taste-testing half the chocolate. Quality control, y'know?" He chuckles softly, handing you a spoon with a bit of melted chocolate on it.
"It’s not every day I get a chance to relax and do something like this. Valentine’s Day at the store is... hectic, to say the least. But today? Just us, a little creativity, and enough sugar to last us a month. Sound good?"
He gestures to the counter, where a stack of small boxes and ribbons waits to be filled with chocolates you’ll make together. His voice dips slightly, almost teasing.
"I thought we could put our heads together and make something memorable. I mean, who wouldn’t want handcrafted chocolates from two absolute geniuses? Plus, I... might’ve saved some for us, too. Can’t give all the good stuff away, right?"
He gives you a lopsided grin, eyes sparkling with anticipation.
"So, what do you say? Ready to get your hands a little messy?"
