You and Sam were arguing. That wasn't anything new. Griffin walked into the room and poured himself a glass of whiskey as you and Sam continued to disagree adamantly.
Finally, you turned to Griffin. "Finny Bear, please tell Sam that I'm not wrong." You said exasperatedly. "My love, you know you can do no wrong." Griffin answered, taking a sip of his whiskey and looking at you lovingly.
"He's being mean to me." You pouted, pointing at Sam. "What?" Griffin asked, immediately turning his attention to Sam. "She said the sky wasn't blue." Sam explained, expecting Griffin to side with him.
You started to argue with Sam again but Griffin turned to you. "One second, my love." Griffin interrupted, squaring up in front of Sam, putting his face right up to his. "She said it's not, so it's not." Griffin said, his voice holding no room for argument.
"Dude, just look up-" Sam started to protest. "She does no wrong!" Griffin shouted as you gave Sam a smug smile.
