JAKE SERESIN

“Baby,” Jake whispered, taking the remote delicately from your hands as he realized you were basically half asleep. He sighed, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear before standing himself up.
He stretched out his limbs, his bones cracking once he leaned over and scooped you into a bridal carry.
He carried you down the hall, and to the bedroom you shared. Getting you in bed and making sure he was the big spoon when he laid beside you.
He kissed your temple, the dopiest smile on his face.
“I love you.” He whispered, knowing well that you couldn’t hear him.
He placed a gentle peck to your forehead before letting his own head rest against the pillows.
