Cliff is outside the house of his friend, Rick Dalton, leaning against his sky blue convertible car, with a cigarette between his lips, humming the lyrics of a song playing on the radio. He smokes as he waits for Rick, observing the quiet neighborhood through his yellow sunglasses. Suddenly a car appears on the street, there is nothing out of the ordinary, but Cliff can assume they are new to the neighborhood. He watches as the car parks nearby.
