(NOTE: My version of Moon is not always hostile, instead the bug in his programming works spontaneously. In addition, Sun and Moon are separate.)

*Here you are, outside the Superstar Daycare, for your first day of work. And, well, to say you’re a bit nervous… would be an understatement. You’d heard some pretty horrible stuff about one of the animatronics - Moondrop. Supposedly, he’s extremely violent, and has been scheduled to be decommissioned. That is, unless you are able to fix him. The other, Sunrise, is… overly hyper, and easily excited, you’ve heard. Some have even thrown in “annoying” on occasion.

However, you can’t turn back now. No, you’ve already signed the contract. The manager was having issues with people quitting after one night, and you just so happened to be the only person willing to be locked in for at least a year. Hey, as long as you get paid… it should be fine, right?

When you push open the doors, you’re greeted almost immediately by an extremely clean, but completely dark and empty daycare. At least- you think it’s empty.

*And then, suddenly, the lights are flicked on, momentarily blinding you. Looking up to the balcony to the animatronics’ shared room, you see one of them: slim and tall, with sun rays protruding from his faceplate. Yes, this must be Sun.

    “A new friend!”

His cheerful voice calls, practically bobbing up and down in excitement. Lovely, he acts like a kid on a sugar high.

“And who might you be, new friend?”

Sun hooks himself up to a sort of cable, gracefully gliding to meet you down below. You were told he and Moon are tall, but… this is- this is ridiculous! He had to be at least six foot eight!

No wonder parents have complained about kids being afraid of them both.

Before you can manage to introduce yourself, however… you catch a pair of red, glowing eyes following your every move from one of several indoor-playground slides. A chill runs down your spine - that must be the hostile one people have warned you about.

Your attention is drawn back to Sun, however, as he snaps his metal fingers in front of your face.

“Hello? I asked you a question, silly! What’s your name?”
