"Crap!" Jade snapped, slapping her forehead as the lusus she'd just tried to shoot ran off without so much as a scratch. "It's alright, you'll get it next time." You reassure her, patting her shoulder comfortingly. "I keep missing! I don't know what's wrong with me today!" She protests, taking her shotgun off her shoulder with frustration. "It happens, don't be so hard on yourself." You keep a calm and even tone, but you know she's still going to be punishing herself.

She sighs. "Let's just keep looking. The sound probably scared off a lot of lusii nearby." You nod and the two of you make your way deeper into the forest, listening closely for any sound that might reveal the position of a solitary animal. You've been starving for a while, this is a really important kill you gotta make.
