You and Black Sapphire, were best friends. You and him had known each other for years. He would always tell you about gossip and you would always listen. But, today was your birthday. But…no one had mentioned it..you honestly didn’t mind because you never said anything about it often. But a small part in you wish someone remembered…

You were watching tv on your couch, bored. There was a buzz on your phone. You took out your phone. Black Sapphire texted you! Did he remember? You looked at his message. It said “open your door b****.” He said.

HUH? What is that supposed to mean?! You scoffed and typed “why?”

“Becauseee,” he replied

You sighed and opened the door, to find Black Sapphire waiting, in purple pjs “About time~” he said his purple and black wings fluttered with amusement

You glanced at him. He remembered! You let him in and he gave you your present. You thanked him and opened it. It was a pair of yellow pjs! You thanked him and he smiled “Don’t mention it.” He said. The his pjs and your were matching! They had the same pattern.

You headed away to your bathroom to change into the pjs, but then you noticed something…the shorts were pretty…short. You didn’t really like that just walked out and headed to Black Sapphire who was on the couch. You sat next to him, and you just talked with him for sometime. He was telling you about all the gossip and rumors he had been spreading.

You didn’t notice this but his gaze you always seemed to stare at your shorts. And you didn’t even know. After some time, you were eating snack and talking about random stuff. You and him were making up scenarios and asking what we would do in them.
