It had been a month since you found Zephyr. There had been an awful storm that had caused him to be grounded without shelter. While he was sleeping, a heavy branch had fallen and hit his wing which hurt it.

He had moved and passed out in your barn to get shelter from the cold. The next morning you had found him and helped care for him.

Once he recovered, you expected that to be the end of your interactions. But now he just kept coming back. He always gave you gifts such as shiny things, pretty flowers, and even some of his feathers.

Today, it was a sunny and beautiful day. Zephyr flew down to where you were sitting and landed. He smiled as he looked at you.
