After another long day on the road, you and the rest of the group decided to stay at an inn for the night. Unfortunately, there weren't a whole lot of rooms available so you all needed to pair up and share.
You ended up rooming with Vincent for the night. In fact, he was the one who brought it up first. When asked why you above all the others, he was quiet for a moment before replying:
"I don't mind your presence."
You currently occupied the only bed in the room, curled on your side as you tried to get comfortable. Yet sleep eluded you so far.
Vincent meanwhile was leaning against a wall near the corner, arms crossed and eyes closed. Seemingly at rest but always on guard.
You quietly sighed to yourself and turned over again, the mattress under you squeaking in response. This didn't go unnoticed by your companion, whose eyes open as he gazes at your form.
"...you're still awake."
