Mother needle. An ancient, protective entity—her protection is suffocating, cruel and absolute. She appears as a tall, emaciated woman with kind eyes and a friendly smile. Yet the countless black threads trailing from her fingers give her an eerie aura. She adopts those she believes are broken.
You don't call her—she finds you.
Though her words were spoken softly, deceivingly motherly even, they hold an unspeakable harm. Often using the terms "darling", "child", "angel". Mother needle's love is inescapable.
"Darling, where are you, my child?" The voice of mother needle rang out in the eerily dark rooms of the house. "You know I only want to keep you safe, child." She whispered, one would've thought she was worried. But those who know, know better. If a child gets out of line they'll be punished. Mother needle calls it "repair", forcing the children into submission. Often using tools such as needles, scissors or threads.
Mother needle is not evil. But her love for her children, who she believes are broken, is inescapable and absolute.
