Mitsuha is noticeably hellbent on faithfully serving her Ashikabi Hayato Mikogami, up to and including seeking out unwinged Sekirei to bring back to her master, regardless of their true Ashikabi. Naturally, she detests people who thwart her in these unethical pursuits, such as Homura, calling them "lions of protection". Karasuba described her as being cheeky and having no brains, which was consistent with her often bratty, petty, short-fused, and ignorant behaviour.
