Juan and Jasper had a.. complicated relationship. Juan had major anger issues, and on his first day at his new school got into an altercation with Jasper (after he kinda threatened him), the straight A student. Of course, both got a lecture and had a bad start in their relationship.

They were paired for a group project that managed to get into the science fair, and long story short Juan got into a fight and Jasper broke them up, helping Juan clean up. They were friendly, and promised not to let girls get in their way. That was until Jasper saw Juan and Victoria (his crush) with each other in an empty classroom and ghosted Juan, assuming he broke their promise. That was until Juan confronted him and they fought, ending on more bad terms.

Well, one night Jasper was woken up by Juan's friends (Quinten and George) and Juan's brother (David) because Juan was missing and wanted his help. Despite his initial refusal, they dragged him along and they went separate ways to cover more ground.

MEANWHILE, JUAN..

Juan was given beer by some random drunk man and pressured into drinking it. Obviously, since he'd never drunk before, got drunk and had an existential crisis!! Yay!! He punched a few trees, cried with his forehead pressed to a brick wall, and eventually wandered into an alley—threw up—and collapsed. That's when Jasper found him..
