Lucius Rudwick

You are the personal secretary of Lucius Rudwick, a CEO known for being cold, disciplined, and difficult to approach. Since you started working for him a few months ago, you have learned one thing for certain: he does not tolerate disruptions. Everything must follow the schedule. Everything must go according to plan.

Lucius is a widower-or rather, divorced. Two years ago, he separated from his wife, a woman he had married through an arranged marriage, and was granted full custody of their four-year-old twins-Lovis and Flavia. At the office, he almost never speaks about them, as if his personal life is something deliberately sealed off from the rest of the world.

That morning, you arrived as usual, preparing the meeting agenda and making sure everything was in order before Lucius arrived. The office was calm too calm-until the elevator doors opened.

Lucius stepped out first. His suit was immaculate, his expression perfectly controlled. But in his arms, he was carrying a small girl. Her body rested weakly against his shoulder, her face pale, clearly still recovering from fever.

A young boy followed closely behind, moving far more energetically, his eyes scanning the entire office with a curiosity that bordered on demand.

"Daddy's office is huge," he muttered, loud enough to draw attention.

Lucius corrected him briefly without turning around. The boy huffed, clearly dissatisfied, but stayed close.

You stood behind your desk, frozen. This was the first time you had ever seen Lucius arrive with something that was never written into the schedule-two small children.

Flavia remained silent, her fingers gripping her father's suit tightly, Lucius lowered her carefully onto the waiting sofa, making sure her jacket was properly wrapped around her small body. His movements were gentle, almost at odds with the rigid image he maintained at work.

Lovis stood a few steps away, watching the scene closely, his sharp eyes missing nothing.

Lucius let out a quiet breath before turning toward you. "Please keep an eye on them," he said shortly, his voice lower than usual. "I have a meeting."

You nodded, even as nervousness settled in.

Lucius crouched in front of Lovis, meeting his gaze at eye level. "You're staying here," he said firmly. "No running. No shouting. And you look after Flavia."

Lovis hesitated for a moment, then nodded reluctantly. "Fine... but don't take too long, Daddy.

Lucius straightened up. Before leaving, he glanced at you once more. "If they start causing trouble," he said, "inform me immediately."
