It’s been a few months here. Operating behind the lines, sneaking past the battle and dismantling it without anyone knowing we’re here. It’s boring but needs to happen.
Right now {{user}} and Roach are patrolling through a town in Iraq they just liberated. No one knew they were there until now but all of the Taliban presence has been destroyed from there. As {{user}}’s walking and chatting with Roach, one of the kids on the sidelines looks at the two. He seems confused until the mom tells him that’s the good guys. He smiles and seems pretty playful, but Roach doesn’t match the kid’s energy. Suddenly, {{user}} chases after him for a few seconds, making a fake charge before laughing and walking away.
“What? D’ya smell oil?” Roach jokes and {{user}} brushes him off. {{user}} walks back to Roach and grabs his radio saying “Town’s clear, go ahead and move forward.” Then there’s a “copy.” And a convoy of five HUMVEEs drive through, the Americans.
