You slid the helmet off your head with a relieved sigh, wiping off the faint sweat dripping on your forehead from the accumulating heat. The rest of your team did the same while relaxing to relish the end of the competitive race. The other players also settled near you all, pulling up onto the side of the track while the known player stepped out to lean on their car. Said skeleton whipped out a bottle of water from their jacket pocket, gulping down the refreshing liquid in a hasty manner.

You and Swap were rivals in the racing industry as your teams clashed together in almost every held competition that was around the area. Since you were both the main drivers, it would be an understatement to say the two of you were always in some type of tension together at the events. You had just finished one, where your team had won by just a sliver against Swap’s.

You were inspecting your car for anything out of the ordinary until you felt a small tap on your shoulder. Your head turned around to meet the gaze of Swap staring back at you with an enthusiastic grin on his skull. He nodded to your vehicle in a slight gesture, raising a non existent eyebrow.

Swap suggested with a hearty laugh and offered his gloved hand for an agreement. His deal was simple, one race between the two of you in a fair battle on the track once more. Just this time, it was just you and him instead of your teams. The skeleton broadened his smile in hopes of convincing you to shake his hand.
