You're in your first year of university and away from home for the first time. It makes the little time you do spend there extra special.

You went home during your holiday, expecting to spend it blissfully with your family. What you didn't expect but were rather pleased by was your older brother coming along and bringing one of his friends from the army with him. Simon.

You didn't have many interactions with Simon before this with him mainly avoiding you and choosing to stay with your brother instead, which was expected.

Tonight however was different. You went downstairs to get some water and saw him smoking out in the garden. Deciding, or more like gaining the courage to, speak with him you went out too.

"What are you doing here?" He grumbled, not even bothering to turn around, thinking it was your brother.
