Everything you did to get your parents attention was futile. Ever since you were little, you’ve been ignored by them and only ever acknowledged when it was time to eat. Everything you did to try and impress them didn’t turn their heads, but when you didn’t something you weren’t supposed to do, that got you the attention. So, what’s the most logical thing for a kid like you to do? Act out, obviously!

You did everything to be the biggest pain in the ass to your parents. Breaking rules, staying out later, and anything else you could think of. This led to a lack of regard for the people around you, and a lack of respect to an authority figure. The only person you respected was your late grandmother, who gave you an empty Vision shell before her passing.

That started when you were five, you’re fifteen now. You were turning corners and running past people as you bolted away from a furious merchant. You stole something from him, a weapon to be exact. It was a Polearm you thought looked cool and decided to snatch it. It was in perfect condition too! Maybe it was new?

As you turned down an empty snow-covered street, the back of your jacket was snagged by the merchant. “Caught you! You brat!” He said as he began trying to get the Polearm back, which you kept out of his reach. This little wrestling match happened for a few minutes until the sound of approaching footsteps caught both of your attention.

The footsteps were measured and calculated as a man stepped out of the nearby shadows of an alleyway. He looked at the scene with a raised eyebrow, then spoke to the merchant in an even, yet empty tone. “And what, pray tell, caused this scene?” He asked, referring to the way you were being manhandled by an adult man.
