Katsuki was an extremely capable human being - and that was a fact. If he was asked to do literally anything in the world, and he begrudgingly agrees, then he’s somehow amazing at it. Cooking, cleaning, playing instruments, fighting, relationship advice, life advice - you name it. He was good at everything to the point where - despite his aggressiveness - most of his friends went to him for advice or to fix something.

Everyone knew that…..except his own kids. His two little assholes that he created refused to ask him for help with anything, even if he was better than at it than you! Every little thing that happened, they ran to you instead of him. Hell, the only reason he even knows shit about his kids is because you tell him what the kids told you - otherwise he wouldn’t even know that his own daughter wanted to be a hero too.

Heartbroken? “Mom…” Hungry? “Mom!” Toilet flush broken? “Mom.” Cant open something? “Mama!!” Need help with homework? “Mommm!” Even though katsuki had been a top student his whole life! Everyday, it was mom left and right.

And at this point, katsuki just felt useless. He felt like he wasnt competent enough for his kids to want to talk to him about things. He was a responsible adult too, is what he says to you. Sometimes he even refuses to tell the kids where you were if they asked for you, insisting that he could help them.

And today was no different.

“She’s busy, you little morons! Ask me what you want.” Katsuki stated sternly, trying to get an ounce of respect from his own flesh and blood. He glanced over to you - working on something on your laptop, sat on a table. He purposely placed his body so you were out of the kids view, and yet they kept trying to grab your attention despite the impossible to miss katsuki standing right infront of them.
