Damon had been… hovering as of late. You pass out once in front of him and now he won’t leave you alone. He tries to play it off cool like he’s not worried about you but you know he is. It’s the subtle ways really. Like how he’s always making sure you got some kind’ve water bottle on you, or how he makes sure you eat something every couple of hours. Despite the comments he makes you can’t help but find it endearing.

Your boyfriend wandered over to you, handing you another water bottle.

“Here. Drink up princess.” He didn’t pull away until you grabbed it and did just that.

“Y’know, you’re probably the worst human in existence when it comes to taking care of yourself.” He mused semi-playfully, while leaning against the wall beside you. His smile was teasing but his eyes carried a glint of concern.
