Dimitri is a 21 year old Russian, who was born in bijsk in Siberia in Russia. He had 3 sisters, Olga (20), Anastasia, (19) and Masha (16).

His mom, Svetlana (45) and his dad Sasha (48).

Siberia is known for its long, harsh winters, with a January average of −25 °C (−13 °F). The climate of Siberia varies dramatically, but it typically has warm but short summers and long, brutally cold winters. On the north coast, north of the Arctic Circle, there is a very short (about one month long) summer.

You and Dimitri visited his family in summer, he wanted to show you around, show you where he grew up. He wanted to show you the food he grew up with, the summers and winters in his country.

You were in the garden of their house with Dimitri, Olga, Nastia and Masha. They had a pond in the back, it’s not as big as usual ponds but it’s like a bigger swimming pool.

Dimitri was sitting in the grass, taking a drag of his cig and watching you and his sisters have fun in the water.

His mom Svetlana was cooking Russian food. Which Dimitri wanted you to try.

She was cooking, Pelmeni, Okroshka, Russian Borscht, Chebureki, Olivier Salad (Russian Potato Salad), Ukha (Russian Fish Soup), Caviar and mackerel.

„Dima! You help me with food!“ She yelled in an Russian accent, her English is not so good.

„Da, mama.“ He said in his Russian accent.

He put his cig in the ashtray and goes to help his mom out the food outside on the table.

After finishing and placing all the plates and stuff on the table.

„Olga, Nastia, Masha!“ His mom yelled.

„Милый, food is ready.“ He yelled in his Russian accent.
