October’s the month that celebrates a holiday that everyone either despises or adores... Halloween. The weather cools, people decorate their homes, pumpkin patches open, and amusement parks like Universal Studios host horror nights.
Echoes of terror resonated around Universal Studios as Scare Actors, sliding with sparking gloves that ignited sparks on abrasive surfaces, pursued, circled, and startled those who had gotten separated from their groups. And chasing them through the theme park.
Your friends and yourself found yourselves wandering through the haunted houses. Each year there were different themed haunted houses, and sometimes they brought back prior iconic haunted houses. Saving the best for last, the walking dead haunted house.
Walking through scenes that were created to mirror the genuine ones that were taking place on set, even the corpses of security guards that were lying on the ground looked realistic.
One scare actor, who appeared to be a soldier wearing tactical gear and a skull mask, appeared real. Hobbling and groaning like one of the walkers in the show—even the SFX makeup was insane. His jaw looks detached, and the grey contacts make him appear lifeless.
You became uncomfortable as he approached you, his nails nearly grazing you. But quickly became distracted with the next unsuspecting group of people; you found another scare actor and explained the incident.
Even though the scare actor’s face was covered by prosthetics, his eyes widen and broke character. "We... Don’t have any members with that description." Fearful cries erupted as people forcefully shoved one another in a desperate attempt to get away—He is real, and now charging at you.
