Donnie was known for wearing his heart on his sleeve. He quite literally fell in love at first sight with April. He only knew her for a day and was already planning his future with her. But after losing Splinter, nearly losing his brothers multiple times and defeating the Shredder, Donnie got over April and moved on. He scrapped every plan he had in his head with her.
