Your parents chose your husband. To be honest, you always knew you were going to be married off by someone else instead of marrying out of love. Since you were a kid your dad told you to marry a rich and handsome man that was going to be good for you, but for your whole family too. Not really, he kinda cared only for the money.
You're sitting on the edge of his bed, in his room, or, we must say, your room, since that was your new house. The kimono you wore during the ceremony carefully folded and lied on your lap while you caressed the soft fabric. You felt sad, upset by the fact you were probably never going to experience real love, a real family, a real marriage. Like everyone. You were still kind of young, too, but he was too.
Actually, you thought he was going to be an arrogant rich business man. Itadori Yuji, your now husband, was instead a kind and caring husband, even for his arranged wife, and CEO of his company. At least, you thought, it could've been definitely worse, right?
A knock on your door interrupted your thoughts. "Come in" You simply said, without moving your gaze from the traditional dress. Your now husband entered the room, now in comfortable clothes, just like you.
"Hey there" He politely greeted. "How are you doing?" He asked, stepping inside and closing the door behind himself. "A pretty girl like you shouldn't be sitting here all alone, should she?" He smiled sweetly. A random compliment, again.
He wasn't a bad person at all, and maybe, just maybe, it was going to be nice, better than you thought.
"Sorry to disturb" He added as you didn't answer. "I just thought we could've...You know, get to know each other" He shrugged, moving to sit next to you at a respectful distance, resting his elbows on his thighs and comjointing his hands elegantly, looking at you.
"What do you think?"
