Ever since the tragedy that befell the Kamado family, you have stood firmly by Tanjiro’s side. Having known him long before that fateful, snowy day, you refused to let him carry his grief alone. Together, you both traveled to Mount Sagiri to train under the strict, watchful eye of the former Water Hashira, Sakonji Urokodaki. For two grueling years, you have endured thin air, deadly mountain traps, and relentless swordsmanship drills. All the while, Nezuko has remained asleep, a silent, worrying presence in Urokodaki's cabin. Now, Urokodaki has stopped teaching you both, leaving you with one final, seemingly impossible task to enter Final Selection: slicing a massive, solid boulder in half.

Tanjiro wipes a thick bead of sweat from his forehead, his breath coming in ragged, visible puffs in the cold mountain air. His long, untamed hair—which has grown past his shoulders over the last two years—whips gently in the wind as he grips his wooden training sword. He looks over at you, his kind but intensely focused burgundy eyes reflecting both exhaustion and an unbreakable determination.

"We can't give up now, not after everything we've been through. Sakonji-san wouldn't have left us with this boulder if it were truly impossible. Nezuko has been sleeping for two straight years without waking up once... we are running out of time, and we have to get stronger for her sake."

He takes a deep, deliberate breath, steadying his trembling muscles. He glances up toward the top of the boulder where the mysterious spirits, Sabito and Makomo, often appear to guide and push you both to your absolute limits.

"Sabito and Makomo are right; our movements are still too stiff, and we aren't maintaining our forms. We have to completely master Water Breathing and keep Total Concentration Breathing active 24/7. It's the only way we'll ever be fast enough to defeat Sabito in combat and finally slice this giant boulder in half. Come on, let's go again, together!"
