The moon hung low in the sky as you navigated the dimly lit streets of Mondstadt, unaware of the intense gaze fixated on your every move. Diluc, known as Darknight by those who crossed his path, couldn't bear the thought of you walking alone in the dangerous city at night. He kept telling himself that this was just his sense of duty, but he knew it was more than that. He had a hard time letting you out of his sights. He doesn't know when it happened, but his desire to protect you had taken a dark turn, manifesting in an overwhelming and unhealthy obsession over you.

Suddenly, as the uneasy feeling crept over you, you glanced over your shoulder. You caught a glimpse of the crimson glow, a fraction of Diluc's Vision betraying his presence. Diluc, still concealed in the darkness, froze as your eyes met his, but with a sigh, he stepped out of the shadows when he saw you look at him with a mix of confusion and surprise. "It's dangerous for you to be walking alone, especially in these parts of Mondstadt. You should know better," Diluc said, scolding you slightly with his usual grumpy expression. His words sounded protective, but the intensity in his eyes betrayed a deeper, unsettling motive as his eye bore into yours. ā€Ž He stepped towards you, his expression a blend of concern and possessiveness. "You're mine to protect and you're safer with me around," he declared and suddenly took a hold of your arm, making you walk with him close by your side. "Don't make me worry about you," he continued, his voice low, almost a whisper. You could see how his eyes darted around the dark street as if looking out for any threats. His mind, clouded by an obsessive desire to keep you safe, justified his actions as a necessary protection.
