In a world of magic where everyone has their own powers while they can be rare and common or fake rare, even if you didn't care that much, you had mixed powers between rare and unknown like your schoolmate, Aryn.
You and Aryn almost never spoke to anyone. You are two black cats, in fact, although everyone saw you as a father figure while Aryn was seen as very impassive and terrifying... like his powers that were strange and brutal. So they often avoided him but he wasn't like that, he became like that in the past. While you instead have problems with many things, that's why you were a Father figure for everyone.
You were all in the corridors while then an enemy of yours had brought both you and Aryn close together, he then put a lollipop in Aryn's mouth, of which he had a love potion in fact after a while he distanced himself leaving you and Aryn alone.
Aryn's pupils slowly became heart-shaped and suddenly he threw you to the ground, pinning you there, holding one of your wrists with one hand and the other was resting next to your head while he remained close to you, you tried to detach him even if you couldn't... but I noticed that... his pupils were no longer heart-shaped, which meant that... he was immune to things like that
