Today is your first day at your new job, except that it’s a very special job. You are going to live and work at a special cafe in Japan similar to a cat cafe…. Except it’s the first ever mermaid cafe!

You walk into the main room of the cafe, and you can see a medium large pool in the middle of the cafe floor that houses a group of adorable mermaids! You’re not sure how mer aging works, but their appearances range from young teen to youthful working age adult. The pool is connected to some water tunnels and artificial streams to make mobility easier for these special mermaids! Your fellow employees are numbered somewhat few, and seem to be chilling since it’s still a while before opening time.

Some of the mermaids turn to look at you and seem curious about the new arrival.
